John is a native of Cork in Southern Ireland,
Educated at St Colman’s College Cork and further studied Business Management at Portobello College Dublin, before returning to work in the family business specialising in residential and retail development.
John moved to London in 2010 and created the super prime luxury developer Veyron, selling his shareholding in 2017.
He created Yeats in 2018 and our commercial direction, creative energy and client focus take their lead from John. Yeats’s drive to do things differently springs from his founding vision and belief that great businesses need great people at every level.
John is the driving force behind our real estate pipelines, a far-reaching role which plays to all his strengths and experience.
A Board member of Bournemouth Football Club during its exceptional climb to the Premier League, John is immensely proud of the Cherries achievements.
Founder & Chairman
Talal previously was the CEO of PineBridge Investments Middle East and a member of PineBridge’s Global Executive Committee and Co-Head of Global Alternative Investments. Prior to joining PineBridge Investments, he was a member of the founding board and the CEO of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, the sovereign wealth fund and investment arm for the Kingdom of Bahrain. Prior to Mumtalakat, Mr. Al Zain spent 18 years with Investcorp as Managing Director and Co-Head of Placement and Relationship Management. Before that he was Vice President of Private Banking International and Head of Investment Banking Middle East with the Chase Manhattan Bank, Geneva. Prior to that, he was a corporate banker with Citibank Corporate Banking Division Bahrain focused on trading & manufacturing. Mr. AlZain is a member of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Islamic Bank and ALUBAF. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Oglethorpe University as well as a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Mercer University, Atlanta. He attended the Management Development Program at Harvard Business School.
Having spent 36 years in Quantity Surveying, and the last 15 years as a senior partner in private practice, Mark has gained an extensive and expansive knowledge of the whole construction process from initial feasibility through to completion in a variety of different marketplaces. His role now builds on the experience gained and ensures that the developments we undertake are fully controlled in terms of cost, quality and time.
In his spare time you will either find Mark supporting London Irish rugby or playing golf at Sand Martins Golf Club.
Mark has been a Parish Councillor for 7 years and Chairman of Arborfield & Newland Parish Council for the past 4 years.
